Job Description:

As a Content Creator intern, you will play a crucial role in various tasks related to influencer recruitment, campaign execution, and social media management. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the dynamic field of digital marketing, allowing you to create impactful campaigns. You'll focus on conception, design and layout, content creation, and production for both social/digital and traditional media outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Create content for LANDER PROSOPIS and LANDER NATURE SOLUTIONS channels (social media posts, tweets, blog, press release, video, etc..)
• Assisting with maintenance and content creation for our website
• Translate materials into Somali and/or English. Contribute to the editing of all content.
• Contribute to the content of the Twitter and LinkedIn accounts.
• Play an active role with the output team, by attending the editorial meeting and providing stories.
• Monitor social media trends surrounding organisational themes in environmental and poverty action.
• Report media and social media stories about environmental issues happening in the Horn of Africa region.

Candidate Profile:

• Background in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, business, or related field is strongly preferred.
• Creative writing in English and Somali.
• Good background on social media platforms (social-savvy)
• Basic skills in photography and videography
• Good background in media
• Willing to learn new skills and to share your skills with others
• Interest in and awareness of environmental issues
• Multitasking skills
• Team player

Work Location:

• Hybrid. Work at the office certain days of the week.
• Office is located in Bada Cas, Hargeisa.
