Job Summary

On behalf of our client, Shaqo Kaab Solutions is seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Sales and Marketing Manager to join our client's team who is in the Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning industry in Hargeisa, Somaliland. The ideal applicant will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing marketing strategies, and building strong customer relationships in the HVAC industry.

Job Specification Brief

The HVAC Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of our HVAC marketing, sales, and business development. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a deep understanding of HVAC systems, codes, and regulations. They will lead a team of technicians, sales, and marketing, and collaborate with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while demonstrating excellent customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in the HVAC industry.
  • Lead the sales team by setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support to achieve objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and market expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales and marketing strategies.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and branding activities to enhance brand visibility and awareness.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure effective communication of product features, benefits, and solutions to customers.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to track progress and evaluate performance against targets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technology advancements to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements in all sales and marketing activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC sales, marketing, business development or similar roles.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of HVAC products, services, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Professional communication level in Somali and English, both written and verbal, Arabic is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Compensation and Benefit

The salary grade for this position will be based on the experience and academic knowledge of the successful applicant. Any benefits and compensations will be based on the guidelines and regulations underlined in the Republic of Somaliland Labour Act.
