CCF is the global leader in research and conservation of cheetahs and has been successful in stabilizing and increasing the wild cheetah population in Namibia through innovative conservation methods. CCF has operations in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, and partner organizations in several other nations.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Veterinarian at CCF Somaliland. The Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical care to cheetahs at the CCF Somaliland facility. This includes performing check-ups, administering medication, performing surgeries, and managing the health and wellness of the cheetahs in the facility.

Qualifications

• Veterinary medicine degree
• Experience in wildlife conservation and management
• Experience in exotic animal medicine and surgery
• Ability to work in a remote location with limited resources
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical record keeping
• Experience with cheetahs is a plus
• Passionate about wildlife conservation and animal welfare
