Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Food and Beverage Specialist located at Green Paradise Hotel in Mogadishu. The Food and Beverage Specialist will ensure that guests receive high-quality food and beverage service by supervising the preparation of food and drink, overseeing staff, and managing resources for the Food and Beverage department. The Food and Beverage Specialist will also support the development of menus, maintain inventory, ensure compliance with regulations, and uphold food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a Food and Beverage management role
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation and beverage service techniques
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations and procedures
• Experience in menu development, food costing, and inventory management and Systems.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
